"After purchasing a new Windows2000 PC server for our Mac based prepress department, we started noticing some critical problems. First, the file sizes were being reported to the Macs incorrectly. This started causing serious problems when our Macs began archiving files. Secondly, there were times our server would totally drop files or say they were locked when they were not.
