ExtremeZ-IP: Special Pricing Options for the K-12 Market

As the proven standard for file sharing between Mac desktops and Windows servers, ExtremeZ-IP is widely used to address cross-platform compatibility requirements throughout school districts nationwide.

Recognizing that a one-price-fits-all strategy does not adequately address all K-12 market needs, the new pricing establishes two options instead of the previous one-rate plan.  These options include:

• The new option to license ExtremeZ-IP on an annual per-Mac (per seat) basis, which can significantly reduce the cost to acquire and deploy ExtremeZ-IP within a school or school district.  This new model can accommodate an unlimited number of users and servers within the district and includes ongoing support and upgrades throughout a multi-year contract.
• The original option which provides for a K-12 discount off the standard published license pricing (based upon the number of Windows servers and Mac clients) with an option to renew maintenance and support for the license on an annual basis, for an additional fee.

With this new, more flexible pricing structure, schools and school districts now can depend on ExtremeZ-IP for consistent file and print sharing between their Mac desktops and Windows servers and Active Directory environments using a pricing model that is consistent with their budget process.
